E4 (Exploring the Efficacy of Elementary Engineering) is a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded research grant studying two approaches to engineering education in elementary classrooms.
Teachers selected to be part of the project will have the opportunity to test one of two NSF-developed engineering curricula in their classrooms. Participating teachers and their students will provide data and feedback as they use these curricula. Their experiences will contribute to research on how students learn about and engage in engineering and will inform future development of engineering curricula for elementary students in the United States.
